Hello and Welcome,

I'm going to start by saying thank you for visiting and I hope you have  enjoyed the many photo's that I have shared with you during your stay.  As you browse through the pages, you will view photos of historical architecture, cultural treasures from our past, scenes from state parks, national parks, county parks, wildlife refuges, sanctuaries,  and even places not so far from my own back yard here in Wisconsin!   I  have photographed  birds, mammals, landscapes, waterscapes, lighthouses and much more.  

Although I photograph many different subjects, conservation and preservation of our wildlife has become my main objective.  Through my camera lens, I believe I can make a difference and help preserve our wilderness areas and the many species that call these places home. 

For those of us who travel the back countries and walk the sanctuaries and refuges throughout North America, I think we unknowingly rely on these places for our own strength as we remain in constant awe of their ability to bring about a feeling of peace in such a chaotic time.   As I hike these places, the fear and the sadness of our current world manages to fade away for those few moments and I am left with only one important issue -  concentrate on what is immediately in front of me.  Whether this be surviving an unexpected mountain storm or just simply watching an Egret tip toe silently through  the shallow waters of a marsh.

To me, these places are a shelter, not just for the wildlife, but for my own sense of existence as well.  As a nature and wildlife photographer and avid backpacker,  I readily support the fight against losing our precious wilderness area's and I strive to help educate people about the importance of supporting  their preservation.   Through  yearly subscriptions, memberships, and periodic donations, A portion of every sale made through my web site is given back to our Parks, Sanctuaries, and Refuges in an effort to keep a promise to myself.
