- I wanted to
start by introducing myself, My name is Celeste, I am a police
detective by profession but an animal advocate by choice. Animals
have always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other
way!

My passion lies
mainly in wildlife conservation and animal rescues.
- I pursue
this passion by helping our local wildlife rehabs and humane society
with providing wholesale items for resale, coordinating and
hosting fund raisers,
volunteering with animal care and abuse/neglect cases and by donating
a portion of the sales from my wildlife photography back to various
wildlife conservation groups.

I am currently owned by 2 Australian Shepherds, 3 horses and 1
Quaker Parrot. Several of my animals are rescues from previously
abused homes and with such a full life, I bet you're wondering why I
became involved with Sugar Gliders?

Well
this is
their story...

- Back in August
of 2007 I investigated a theft of 5 sugar gliders. Though the story
did not have a happy ending, I couldn't help but want to learn more
about about these beautiful bright eyed little creatures. I
searched the internet and in the midst of a lot of outdated, biased
and down right wrong information, I found Glider Central. Once I
found Glider Central, I soon learned that it was a forum packed with
good information and wonderful knowledgeable people that I could
trust to help me with anything concerning my Sugar gliders. I
made friends quickly and almost immediately adopted my four sweet
little suggies! Now I have six!!
